Fairy day

It was one of those magical days the other day...

As soon as the sun came up, magic unfurled... 

like a fresh bloom,  

like a breath of sunshine,
minute by minute...

You see, it was the day of the fairies...  

one by one the came out of the woods to play

Flowers smiled, and the woods, dressed up in autumnal jewels,
clapped and danced to the rhythms of fairy songs...

Whispered the tall maples magical words...

Whispered the heart the truest 'I love yous'

to the sweetest, most wonderful fairies of all

Living a trail of sparkles wherever they went...

They laughter broke into a thousand pieces...
like strings of bells in the walls of my soul

as they all went skipping about

playing in enchanted little cottages

little fairies...

and one more too...

forever a child at heart

and that was the beginning of a most fairylicious day ever!...

A truly magical day, indeed!
