I wish I could relay to you in perfect words how wonderfully
and beautifully and remarkably awesome the early morning light shines upon the
woods across our dinning room every morning during our breakfast. But words falter. Light streaming magically through the trees, illuminating
one side of the somnolent woods, while the other remains hidden in the small
glow of shadows... and the moment is so precious,
and so fleeting... It's like lighting a candle, and lovingly doting the long
flame and robust glow. Until time sets in like wax, overflowing deeper and
deeper into the wick, leaving a sparse flame struggling to live until finally.... the
moment is gone forever; leaving us yearning for more, until the following morning. These moments, they always find a way to
shine through to me.
Sweet, sweet moments... it's almost too much to talk about, so I hope these pictures tell
the story of what I see each morning...
I don't know of anything that offers such beauty as that of mother nature. From a glorious sunrise to the last rays of sun at days end, it is like beautiful wrapping on the gift of another day. Reading your words of appreciation and amazement are like experiencing these events for the first time.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely view of the garden from your dining room Cielo. It must be glorious to sit and sip coffee while contemplating the lush greenness of your spring garden from the window. I think there is no better way to begin each day. I am always intrigued by what lies beyond, past the serene faced statues that stand guard at the entrance to the dark shadowy wooded region behind your garden. Is it the realm of dancing fairies and happy wood sprites? Or is there something more frightening there like snakes or even, heaven forbid, goblins?
ReplyDeleteWhat lies beyond, past the statues? Ohh, that depends on the day and my moods... if it's sunny and warm, rainy and cloudy or cold and dreary, and it also depends on my mood, if the mind is ruffled, or if my pillow is restless or if I'm looking forward or backward... so yes there may lay only a house of bramble and the usual small creatures of the woods, but also a witch's house and fairies, giants and gnomes.... one day, I even spied a chupacabras foraging for food at the skirt of the woods... but I best leave things here, as I am well known for spooking my self to bits with my own stories... hehe...
